The Trailblazer Foundation in Cambodia

The Trailblazer Foundation (
Founders: Scott and Chris Coats

Trailblazer Mission Statement: By providing training and appropriate technology, we empower rural villagers to create self-sustaining programs. Our focus includes water projects, school construction, and community development in order to foster healthy families, sufficient food, and sustainable incomes.

Currently our efforts are focused on impoverished rural villages in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. Cooperative, sustainable economic development projects include clean water initiatives (well drilling, bio-sand water filters), development of agricultural programs (vegetable gardens, fish farms), school construction, as well as the establishment of village committee controlled funds to finance micro loans.
