MDG Financing need and aid gap

Bangladesh needs to invest approximate 7 thousand 800 core US dollar in next 4 years by 2015. That amount of money need to invest in sectors like education, health, energy and infrastructure to achieve the MDG goal. According to that per capita investment need stand 122 USD. Planning division of Bangladesh Govt. report said that three fourth of the financing comes from domestic sources and rest is foreign aid. That means per capita aid requirement stood at 31 USD. Experts said that develop countries did not keep their promise of aid to promote MDG. Bangladesh got foreign aid commitment at 2010-11 highest 3.86 billion USD. But utilization stood only half of it. Experts argued that, in that aspect Bangladesh need to improve aid utilization.
